Latysh Y. Ukrainian and Russian historiography of the Decembrist movement in Ukraine (the 20-s of the ХХ century - beginning of the ХХІ century).

In the dissertation was conducted a comparative analysis of the Ukrainian and Russian Decembrist study of the 20-s of the ХХ century - beginning of the ХХІ century. The propagation of Decembrism's class understanding, the struggle against non-marxist streams were disclosed on the basis of the analysis of historiography. The concept of Ukrainian Decembrism and its meaning for the Ukrainian historiography was investigated. The confirmation of M. Nechkina's revolutionary concept and the delitescent opposition to it from the side of Ukrainian and Russian historians was illustrated. The contemporary state of the Decembrist's studies in Ukraine and Russia was analysed. The special attention was devoted to the functioning of Decembrist studies scientific schools and centres. The problems of perspective investigations on history and historiography of the Ukrainian Decembrism was outlined.
