3. Dissertation is devoted to the background of choice of the tactics of treatment of patients with early rectal cancer. Main positions of dissertation confirm the efficacy and perspectivity of performance of the organ-preserving operations in patients with early rectal cancer of distal localization. The complex clinicolaboratory and instrumental examination of 158 patients with early rectal cancer has been carried out. The most important clinic and laboratory indices have been found, which have importance for the choice of tactics of treatment of patients with early rectal cancer, in particular tumor size and localization, grade, depth of tumor invasion, mitotic activity, lymph node status, etc.
