Fedosova G. Socio-psychological conditions of overcoming of communication barriers in students.

The dissertation deals with socio-psychological peculiarities of communicative barriers in students. The research work contains theoretical substantiation, methodological foundation and the results of the empirical study of communicative barriers in students. The essence of communicative barriers in students as well as their main kinds (in educational activity and outside) were determined. The factors that have influence on communicative barriers in students were fixed - kind of students' future specialty; education form; University's property form; age; gender of students; their marital status etc. Socio-psychological conditions for overcoming of communicative barriers in students were determined. The program of socio-psychological training, which helps students to overcome the communicative barriers was worked-out. Approbation of the program came into view the conclusion, that the level of students' preparation can be increased by means of knowledge of: a) communicative barriers' essence, their mainkinds and causes; b) their diagnostic methods; c) means and ways of effective communicative interaction, awareness and overcoming of communicative barriers.
