Dyomina K. Clinical and immunohistochemical characteristics of the lateral cysts of the neck.

The dissertation focuses on the diagnostic measures which allow by comparing clinical and laboratory characteristics to find out the interdependence between the morphological and immunohistochemical peculiarities of the structure of the neck lateral cysts walls according to their typology. The algorithm of diagnostics and treatment of patients with lateral cysts of the neck has been elaborated as well as the possibility to foresee their unfavourable clinical course and the recurrence of the disease after the treatment depending on the their nosological forms has been grounded. New data on the distribution, localisation of HLA-DR+, СD3+, СD4+, СD8+, СD20+ within epithelium, subepithelial layer and membrane have been resulted from the morphological and immunohistochemical studying of cyst walls. Data on inspection of the patients with the neck lateral cysts enable to prove the dependence of the morphological and immunohistochemical characteristics of wall structure on its clinical and laboratory characteristics. It has been also proved that the study of the state of adaptive immunity should be used for differential diagnostics including the algorithm into the complex therapy of these patients and for making final diagnosis in complicated and doubtful cases.
