Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the establishment of peculiarities of physical and sexual development of boys born from fathers who participated in the liquidation of Chernobyl APP accident and to the extension of notions about neurohormonal regulation of mentioned processes. It has been established that the signs of beginning of puberty appear earlier in 10-12 year old boys of the main group as compared with the control group; that was combined with increased parameters of height and body weight. It has also been proved that an accelerated beginning of development in those boys is connected with an earlier activation of hypophysis-gonads-adrenals system that in its turn is caused by peculiarities of age dynamics in metabolism of catecholamines and melatonin level. The informative factors of risk concerning the formation of an accelerated sexual development have been calculated. The established peculiarities of puberty course created a way to improve prophylactic examination of children born from Chernobylaccident liquidators.
