The paper researches Willem Kurz piano school as the total of activity results and a system of views of Willem Kurz himself and his most prominent disciples from various countries and discloses the main performing principles of this school and its role in formation of Lviv piano performance mastery. The notion of Lviv piano school is being defined, as well as the principles of Willem Kurz's teaching principles and performing and teaching principles of E.Steuermann.
