Thesis is dedicated to the study of the special features of structure formation and physical-mechanical characteristics of powder compositions Cr-Cu, and also changes in the structure of the operating layer of Cr-Cu vacuum contacts under the effect of the arc. Morphology, chemical and granulometric composition of initial powders are studied. The thermodynamic simulation of the chemical interaction of chromium and copper with the admixtures as carried out. Adhesive characteristics and special features of structure formation under sintering in the presence of liquid phase in the systems Cr-Cu and Cr-Cu-Fe(Co,Ni) are investigated. The kinetic of compacting of composition Cr-50 % mass. Cu in the process of nonsothermic and isothermic sintering in the vacuum and in hydrogen are studied; the enfluence of hot die forging on the physical-mechanical properties of the composition is studied. The analyze of microstructural changes in the working layer vacuum Cr-Cu contacts under the conditions approximating operational is carried out. On the basis of the results of studies the structure, properties technical specifications and conditions of preparing the composition ХМ50В-КМ for the production vacuum contacts with the increased electroerotion durability is developed.
