Essay

The research object: subsystem of knowledge appraising of the automated learning system. The aim the research: creating models and tools for the automated learning system due to developing theory and problem-oriented tools directed to formalization of knowledge appraising. The methods of research: fuzzy-set theory, fuzzy logic, neural networks, optimization methods.Theoretical and practical results: the models and software tools of knowledge appraising of the automated learning system were created. Scientific novelty: the information model of the automated knowledge appraising is developed. On the basis of the suggested information model the fuzzy-neural system in which formalized the teacher's heurisms of knowledge appraising is developed. The model of adjusting the knowledge estimation is offered in view of time used to perform the concrete task. The degree of implementation: for the practical realization of suggested models the program "Qwester-results" was executed. This software is used in Sumy State university, Konotop institute of SumDU, Center of remote education, Sumy college NAU. Application area: in educational process.
