Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the specific characteristics of the bronchial asthma, signs of atopy and characteristics of an inflammatory process in the respiratory tracts depending on the type of acetylation and blood groups. The diagnostic value and risk indices of the slow acetylated phenotype has been evaluated as far as prognosticating a severe course of asthmatic attacks is concerned. On the basis of the multivariate analysis a mathematical model of a severe persisting course of bronchial asthma has been developed in patients with slow and rapid types of acetylation and a diagnostic constellation table to detect this disease course variant in children with different acetylating phenotypes has been proposed. The results of the patients' multimodality examination have made it possible to single out and substantiate an individualized approach, when determining remedial - preventive measures in children, depending on the type of acetylation at the time of the acute condition of the disease and while instituting basic antirelapsing therapy
