The Dissertation Thesis explores into the actual problems of theoretical and practical nature pertaining to implementation of the constitutional-legal status of military servicemen under the conditions of ongoing military reforms, insuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of servicemen and the warranties of implementation thereof. Particular attention is focused on the theoretical issues pertaining to the constitutional-legal status of military servicemen as a special kind of legal statuses. The author gives the retrospective and studies the process of establishment of a system of normative-legal acts pertaining to legal status of military servicemen, explores into the notion and the structure of the constitutional-legal status of military servicemen and conducts the analysis of its main elements and peculiarities, analyses the system of normative-legal acts that determine and regulate the constitutional-legal status of servicemen, identifies the drawbacks of the existing legislation on the subject and proposes the solutions for its further development and the adoption of a new Law on the legal status of military servicemen, analyses the issues of practical implementation of constitutional rights of servicemen on active-duty and proposes the ways how to achieve their implementation in practice. The author also considers the issue of legal warranties for the implementation of servicemen's constitutional rights and freedoms and proposes the solutions aimed at the improvement of the normative-legal and the organizational-legal warranties.
