Dissertation is devoted to the study of adaptive reactions of sedge plants Сarex hirta L. to the soil oil contamination, also plants role in the soils purification, polluted by oil. The results of the conducted researches certify high plasticity of sedge plants to oil contamination, that allows recommending them for the phytoremediation of soils in the regions of oil production.
