Using new synthetized copolymers of 9- vinylcarbazole with alkylmethacrylates the plastifying action of their units was found. The effect of "internal" plastifying of poly(vinylcarbazole) by monomer's units can be observed in such systems. New methods of synthesis were developed for Pb-containing monomers and with their application new copolymers of 9- vinylcarbazole and 3-iodo-9- vinylcarbazole were synthetized by radical copolymerization.New copolymers were obtained which consisted fragments of anthracene and carbazole. The perspectivity of their application as information media was shown. The sensibilization abilities of 25 telluriumorganic compounds (TOC) was studied. The process of sensibilization of poly(vinylcarbazole) by TOC was shown to be conditioned on molecular complex-formation. The perspectivity of this class of sensitizers was also shown. By spectral investigations it was shown that an efficiency of charge carriers generation in composites of 9- vinylcarbazole copolymers with alkylmethacrylates and polymethine dye is greatly dependent on the molecular structure of carbazole-containing copolymers. Such composites can be successfully applicated in the development of plastic converters of solar irradiathion.Obtained results enable possibilities to develop new energysaving photosemiconductive materials which are sensitive to the visible, UV-, IR- and X-ray irradiations and external magnetic fields.
