Marchyshak A. Transformation of Orthodoxy in Global World: Postsoviet Period Context.

The thesis is an integrative research that studies essential changes in contemporary native-country Orthodoxy. It shows the influence of global and secular process on Orthodox Church. Based on integrative religion studying analysis of contemporary native-country Orthodoxy, it is proved that transformative processes in present denomination, being the result of world spread global laws of development of religions on one hand and characterizing posttotaliterian society tendencies leading to change in the spiritual realm on the other hand, face antinomian choice between necessity of preserving its aged traditions, achieved as the result of isolation and the necessity of modernization, and adaptation of its creeds and lifestyle to the reality of global world which requires to cross the limits of its orthodoxy.
