The Lexico-Semantic group of words "Plant Kingdom" is investigated in three diachronic stages of the German language. The aim is to define the peculiarities of the development of word semantics that belong to the lexico-semantic group "Plant Kingdom". The methods are: descriptive, paradigmatic, comparative-historical. Formation and development of German lexemes with the meaning "Plant Kingdom" was analysed in deachronic aspect for the first time. The elaboration of a number of theoretical theses in the sphere of language units recoustruction. The usage - in the theoretical and special courses in higher school. The sphere of usage is higher school.
