Lexicon of the sphere of ecology in modern English. The aim is to reveal the tendencies of the enrichment in ecology vocabulary of the English language by means of linguistic and sociolinguistic analysis of word-formative, semantic and phrase-building processes. The methods are descriptive, quantitative. The sociofunctional analysis of ecological vocabulary, singling out the nuclers centres of new processes have been investigated for the first time. The development of separate parts of general linguistics, Germanic philology, English philology in particular. The usage - in theoretical courses teaching lexicology, stylistics. The sphere of usage - higher school.
