Essay

The dissertation is historical and political science research, which is devoted to the Eastern-European policy of NATO in 1990 – 2005 years on the stage of disintegration of USSR, Warsaw Agreement organization, the end of «cold war» and future scale transformation of Аlliance by the reception of 10 new countries - members of the Eastern Europe region. A new NATO strategy, processes of rapprochement and cooperation of Alliance with new members are analyzed. The internal factors of development, which influenced on the integration of countries, including political parties’ positions, are explored. The problems of NATO – Ukraine relations are separately studied. A course to North Atlantic Alliance integration of Ukraine has understanding of NATO and also supported by bilateral political documents and real cooperation. In the same time the support of integration course in society is not attained and became the article of sharp political discussions
