The object: lies in the theoretical accumulation in methodology and in the research on its basis the genesis, evolution of prayer-centered text, peculiarities of its functioning in the Ukrainian lit-re of a definite period of time. The aim: in theoretical workouts of methodology and research on its basis the genesis artistic evolution of prayercentered text, peculiarities of ils functioning in ukrainian lit-re of a definite period. Practical significance: of the received results is that they can be used for further researches in the Theory of Lit-re, especially eidology, tematology and imagology, as well as for the history of Ukrainian lit-re. Methods: used in the research are systematic, poetоlogical, comparative-typological in the coordination with phenomenological, receptive.
