Essay

The Thesis is devoted to solution of the problem of vibration of cylindrical shell, reinforced by discretely located ribs considering method of connection between ribs and panelling: continuous rigid, continuous compliant, or discrete rigid connection. It is shown that the method of connection between ribs and panelling considerably influences on the shell eigenmodes. The technique which is developed allowed to obtain the eigenmodes which were not found out before analytically.
