Data on the social-demographic and abnormal clinic-psychological features of the organic depressed disorders of vascular genesis peculiar to late age patients are got; the role of specific for this age psychogenic factors in forming of depressions is specified; influence of the depressed disorders on the features of personality and the patients' life quality is specified, the effective complex of medical and rehabilitation measures is developed. Expedience of the use of the pathogenesisly grounded medical-rehabilitation programs including intensive medicinal therapy, phyto- and psychotherapy is proved. Intensification quantity reduction, remission lengthening and decline of stationary medical treatment duration, improvements of the patients' life quality became a result of the research.
