Sokolov M. The problem of tolerance in informational area

This thesis generalized theoretical views on the problem of tolerance in informational area. The complex system approach is applied for detailed studying of this problem on global and national level. The definition of concept of tolerance is analyzed in national and foreign science. The sense is concretized and the crux of this concept is uncovered in philosophical meaning, political culture and informational area. The different types of tolerance are described, the ways of understanding of tolerance are proposed, and practical aspects, which must help us to clarify the causes of intolerant behavior in informational area, are adduced. The conceptual analysis of the problem of informational warfare as systematical demonstration of intolerant behavior in informational area is realized. The technologies of influence of mass media on mass consciousness are examined. Especially, the problem of misusing of mass media in informational warfare is mentioned, and mass media is illustrated as one of the type of informational weapon. For the first time in Ukrainian political science it was proposed to use special term "news management" as a specific process when political powers try to control and manipulate mass media.
