Essay

The dissertation is devoted to administrative and legal enforcement of refugee status in Ukraine. The genesis of the definition „refugee” in International and Ukrainian legislation is analyzed. The valid statutary – legal basis of legal refugee status regulation is investigated, the competence of administrative subjects in this sphere is defined. The procedure position to grant the refugee status in the system of administrative procedures is determined. The suggestions to raise the efficiency of the procedure of granting the refugee status are formulated. Some alterations and amendments to the laws and subordinate legislation which regulate administrative and legal refugee status are proposed.
