Essay

In thesis the process of formation and realization Czechoslovak immigration policy during the period of 1920-1930 based on the wide range of archival materials and printed sources was investigated. Mass and political character of immigration problem, the ways of resolving it by the League of Nations and the participation of Czechoslovakia in this process were shown. The rules of crossing of the Czechoslovak borders by foreigners and the legal basement of their staying on the territory of the state were analyzed. The conditions for long-term staying of immigrants in Czechoslovakia, which were given by the state, the financial and initiative support of their cultural-educational activity were examined. The transformation of the Czechoslovak immigration policy beginning from the second part of the 1920 years was shown.
