The dissertation work is devoted to study of the recombination processes and electrophysical properties of the low dimensional systems on the basis of lead iodide and oxygen-containing zinc compounds. The influence of the dimensionality effects, impurities, technological conditions of samples' fabrication and processing on the optical and electrical characteristics and structure of the above mentioned materials was investigated.
