Essay

Object - the processes of growth and accumulation of live organic matter in natural stands of Ukrainian Carpathians.Purpose - development of complex standard-information providing for estimations qualitative and quantitative parameters of components of aboveground phytomass, sequestered carbon and energy contain, in order of estimations of tree and natural stands of Silver Fir in Ukrainian Carpathians. Methods - basis theoretical research of this dissertation is and common science methods (analysis, synthesis, observation, experiment and modeling) and special methods of perception, that were developed for forest assessment, forestry, physiology of plant and others. For solution of individual forestry tasks in order the research has been used biometrical and mathematical statistics methods (graphic-analytical, correlation and regression analysis). Novelty - for the first time characteristics of local and middle basis and natural density of stem wood, bark of stem, branches has been find of Silver Fir tree and mathematical models for their estimation in static and dynamic developed. Established qualitative estimations of quantitative characteristics of foliage have been: the percentage of foliage in the green and a mass of absolute dry matter in fresh foliage. For the first time are the system models and complex tables for estimation of aboveground phytomass components of Silver Fir tree and stands in Ukrainian developed. Research methodical of biological productivity forests, which help to do estimation of energy contain in tree and stands was improved. For the first time tables of carbon in aboveground phytomass and storage energy for Silver Fir stands developed. Result of research - for solution ecological, energy and product branch tasks, that need to be solved in Carpathians and Ukraine as a whole, follow are recommend: mathematical models and complex of information tables for assessment of parameters of basis and natural density of stem wood, bark of stem, branches and qualitative characteristics offoliage; mathematical models and tables for assessment of components of aboveground phytomass tree in fresh-cut and dry matter condition; mathematical models and tables for assessment of components of aboveground phytomass of Silver Fir stands (dry matter condition) in static; tables for assessment of foliage mass in Silver Fir stands in fresh-cut condition; tables for assessment of deposited carbon and storied energy of Silver Fir phytomass.
