The process of money-and-credit regulation in a period of the market transformation of economy of Ukraine. Deepening of the scientific substantiation of the theoretical aspects of money-and-credit regulation of the price stability and elaboration of the ways of its improvement in Ukraine. Methods: general scientific methods of cognition, structural-logical method of modelling and other generally accepted statistical methods. The determination of essence of "price stability" is made more profound and the classification of the factors that influence on the price stability in a period of the market transformation of economy depending on money-and-credit policy is offered. The complex of measures of stage-by-stage transition of Ukraine to inflation targeting as the most effective mode of money-and-credit policy is elaborated. The recommendations are inculcated during the elaboration of the ways of improvement of money-and-credit regulation of the price stability and the mechanism of improvement of the system of guarantying the deposits of population.
