Essay

On the basis of the investigations of "stage-effect" and "dose-effect" dependencies for chromosomal aberrations induced by gamma-irradiation in human peripheral blood lymphocytes the algorythm of cytogenetic evaluation of human individual radiosensitivity value was adopted. Application of the variation statistics made it possible to determine individuals with increased values of chromosomal radiosensitivity (11.6% of referent sample) and limits of normal cytogenetic parameters values of radiosensitivity in group of healthy donors. Essential influence of repair processes on the values chromosomal individual radiosensitivity formation was investigated. It was shown that repair efficiency in radiosensitive cells is 1.6 times lower than in normal. Developed method of human individual radiosensitivity estimation based on cytogenetic parameters is proposed for complex examinations among healthy population with the purpose to determine individuals with the increased radiosensitivity and promote primary prophylactics of radiogenic pathologies.
