External trade of Ukraine since its independence and factors determining the commodities and geographical structure of export-import flows. Development of proposals for improvement of government forecasting and regulation activities in the sphere of export-import operations in Ukraine under conditions of integration to world economy. Methods: historical and logical, comparative analysis, experts' assessments, historical analysis, uncovering divergence through comparison, modeling, mathematical statistics approach, forecast extrapolation method. The system of factors determining competitive advantages of nations on external markets has been expanded.Introduced the coefficient of export and import geographical dispersion. Recommendations fostering export commodities structure optimization and tolling materials import operations efficiency growth. Executive and legislative government bodies, studying process.
