Об'єкт дослідження - terrorism as the socially-legal phenomenon, and also public relations, arising up in the field of public safety and having for an object to provide life and health of man, his property inviolability. Мета дисертації - contradictions being in basis of philosophical comprehension of terrorism and to give estimation of efficiency of existent legal mechanism of fight against him. Методи дослідження - systems approaches dialectical, and historical, world view approach method of comparative analysis. Наукова новизна - is first certain and a thesis that terrorism contradictions between an individual and society underlaid is grounded, showing up in the form of contradiction between justice and aspiration to justice; research of essences descriptions of terrorism is improved in his historical development, and also in correlation with philosophical-legal categories: justice, violence. Практичне значення - row of positions and conclusions of dissertation is inculcated at 5 science conferencesduring the leadthrough of scientific discussions in area of philosophy of right, theory of the state and right and criminology. Предмет і ступінь впровадження - material of dissertation was used in the educating and educational process of the Odessa national legal academy (act of introduction from 05.02.2007).
