Popova I. Mechanisms of realization of state policy with respect to national minorities in Ukraine: regional aspect

The object is the state policy with respect to national minorities. The objective is to define and theoretically justificate the main ways of improvement of mechanisms of realization of state policy with respect to national minorities in Ukraine on the state and regional levels as a mean to optimize state regulation of ethnic-social processes. The methods are system approach, quantity-qualitive analysis, comparative, modeling, prognosing, sociological interrogation, documents and statistical data study and analysis. The newness is that from the positions of system approach the complex mechanism of state regulation of ethno-national relations in Ukraine and its regions is worked out; general-state priorities and regional particuliarities of state ethnic policy of Ukraine are determined. The results are that the activity of regional bodies of state power (Kherson region, particularly) has been analyzed regarding keeping and development of national originality of ethnic communities, living on its territory; the priority directions of mechanisms of state regulations of ethno-national processes in state and regional aspects have been determined and the ways of their improvement have been suggested.
