Essay

The generalized phenomenological model of damage accumulation in structural materials at elasto-plastic deformation under complex stress is developed. In model influence of sign of the first invariant stress tensor on a kinetics of damage accumulation is considered. The generalized failure criterion of a boundary state of structural materials on stage of macrocrack initiation subject to kind of stress is developed and validated. Experimental and theoretical researches, that have been carried out, have displayed satisfactory correlation of the developed model and experimental data by two techniques of damage accumulation kinetics definition (a specific resistance and a coefficient of elasticity) at tension, tension-compression and torsion.
