Essay

Dialogic unities that comprise utterances with modal particles. The aim is to define different features of the utterance prosody with modal perticles in German dialogue speech. The methods are descriptive, fuantitative, statistic. The peculiarities of the prosodic arrangement of the utterances with modal particles were investigated on the basis of the spontaneous German dialogues for the first time. The received data can be employed in teaching German as a foreign language, in special courses and special seminars in theoretical and practical phonetics of the German language. The sphere of usage is higher school.
