Baturina S. Fedir Pavlovych Shevchenko: life and creative work.

Dissertation is the complex research of biography and scientific legacy of the Ukrainian historian, archive worker, science organizer, specialist in area of the special historical disciplines, history of Ukraine, Fedir Pavlovich Shevchenko (1914-1995). In the disertation, in the context of social and political events of domestic history 30-90-х ХХ c. biography of F.Shevchenko is analyzed. His role in organization of Ukrainian historical science is marked In the complex of scientific legacy of F.Shevchenko is possibility to select two basic thematic blocks: history of Ukraine XVII-XVIII c., studies of teoretic-methodological trends. Within bounds of the marked categories it is expedient to select regional aspects, special historical disciplines, separate subsection is made by archeography texts, prepared by F.Shevchenko is edition of documents of history of Second World War, West-ukrainan territories of ХІХ c., publication of Zboriv regist of 1649.
