Essay

The object is physical process in quasioptical wave¬guide metall resonator by excitation of the high-frequency electromagnetic field; the purpose is search of effective methods selection of transverse modes in wave¬guide metall resonator of submillimeter laser; the methods are integral equation, Fourier transformation; the new approach are: for the first time to proposal and realization of the method selection of transverse modes in the combined resonator containing two circular metal waveguides which are coupled by a system of deflecting mirrors is investigated. Proposal and realization The selection method with the us of a part of the free space allows. For the first time to proposal and realization of the selection method with the use of a nonuniform mirror permits to select one of the higher modes without increase its losses
