The dissertation is devoted to the complex research influence of oil factor on the Anglo-Russian rivalry in Persia in 1901?1917. History of the Anglo-Russian rivalry is being examined. The special attention has been paid to the process of forming and making new content struggle between Great Britain and Russia for Persian oil market. The concession of D’Arcy was one of the main cause became acute Anglo-Russian contradictions in 1901?1902, continuation rivalry after Convention 1907, and became strained bilateral relations on the eve and in time I-rst World War. The researcher has proved, that Russia was differ from Great Britain, it hadn’t made clear foreign policy course to preserve interests of native oil industry businessmen in Persia and as result Russia had lost struggle for Persian oil in fact.
