Rabotkina S. A Phenomenon of “two faiths” in Domestic Religious Culture.

The dissertation is a Philоsophic Religion Studies investigation of “two faiths” phenomenon as of a form of compromise existence of antipode religious world view in the context of general process of forming religious consciousness in Kyiv Rus in XI-XIII centuries as well as two faiths problems in the present Ukrainian society. In this work the evolution of “two faiths” concept on different stages of development of Ukrainian philоsophic and religious conception is being analysed; the understanding of two faiths as of “an open system” is being grounded; forms of two faiths manifestations in literary sources, orthodox rites, heretical teachings are being considered; transformation of “two faiths” phenomenon in the present Ukraine is being investigated too.
