The process of machine-building holding structures creation and functioning is the dissertation's object. The purpose is the development of the theoretical foundations and practical recommendations of improvement of machine-building holding structures creation and efficiency evaluation. Methods of the research are: statistical and comparative analysis, systematization and generalization, scientific induction and deduction, expert judgements, structure-logical methods. Applied recommendations in economic evaluation of holding structures creation and activity and model of holding structures creating process are worked out at the first. Applied recommendations in subsidiary's investment attraction evaluation are improved. The methodical approach in staff's risk estimation for holding structures is developed and improved. The classification of holding structures types is improved and supplemented, also the classification of holding creating process type's is perfected by systematization and supplementing.The conceptual approach to the holding structure creation and function are improved by working out in detail and supplementing. The results of the research are implemented at the enterprises and in the educational process. Sphere of use is the activity of machine-building holding structure's members.
