Essay

In the thesis one important problem of modern neonathology is considered, namely, the study of peculiarities of neuroendocrinal regulation and corrections of its disturbances in premature newborns with hypoglycemia, the development of new approaches to nursing and treatment of premature newborns who have hypoglycemia. The peculiarities of early neonatal period in premature newborns with hypoglycemia were determined. It was found that premature infants with hypoglycemia have disturbances of all links of neuroendocrinal regulation mechanisms, namely, the imbalance of hypophysial and suprarenal system, the hypothyroxinemy which can be treated as relative hypothyroidism, the disturbances of insulin and glucagon background (hyperinsulinism). The dynamics of key ferments of carbohydrate metabolism at premature newborns with apparent hypoglycemia is the evidence of the intensity of glucose oxidation processes, the high intensity of the processes of glycolysis and the pentose cycle of glucose oxidation. It wasfound that there is certain correlation between the level of the investigated hormones in the blood and concentration of glucose at full-term and premature infants, but there is no such correlation in premature newborns with hypoglycemia. It was shown that the hormonal composition of milk changes with the dynamics of lactations. The improved method of treatment of premature infants with hypoglycemia with inclusion of L-thyroxin is offered and its effectiveness is shown. Therefore, this method can be recommended for broad application in the practice of health protection.
