The Thesis is devoted to the developing the scientific and methodological bases of managing the innovational updating of the production’s material and technique base, formation of the effective strategy, its fulfilling basing on the achievements of the national and technical progress. The economical content of the material and technique base of the production, its composites and the features of the development in the real sector of the economy are uncovered. The economic and organizational means of managing the innovational pro-cesses in industry, their influence on the efficiency of the running the economy are outlined. The elements of developing the material and technique base of food industry as one of the structure-forming branches of Zhytomyr oblast, the sources of the financial maintenance and the direction of material and technique base of the contemporary production improving basing on the introduction of the innovations are researched. The influence of the innovational updating of the materialand technique base of the production on the efficiency of enterprises’ activity is analyzed. The strategy of the innovational updating of the material and technique base of the food productions that is a means of the conception fulfillment of the economy innovational development is developed.
