Pakhomova A. Efficacy of the modified "revascularization" operation in the patient's complex treatment with age-related macular degeneration

Object - age-related macular degeneration, "dry" form. Purpose - to increase the effectiveness treatment of the patients with age-related macular degeneration, "dry" form. Methods: common ophthalmological, reoophthalmography and Color Doppler imaging; histologic and electron microscopic research of the cuts; reoophthalmograph, UZ tomograph, electron microscope. The scientific data were added, concerning biotransplantat concrescence with functionally high-grade new vessels (capillary type) during 2 weeks after modified "revascularization" operation with use of biotransplant at the experiment. It was introduced modified "revascularization" operation with use of the combined biotransplant, consisting of Tutoplast® "Fascia temporalis", on background of medicamentous treatment, promotes improvement of functional and hemodynamics parameters. Results of work are introduced in the KSMU, KMAPE and in the KRCH. The sphere of use: medicine, ophthalmology.
