Object of research: is relations, established in the process of formation and functioning of agrotourism farms. The purpose of research: is to develop theoretical and methodological bases and scientific, methodological and practical recommendations as to formation of preconditions of creation and effective functioning of agrotourism farms. Methods: system and structural, abstractly and logical, statistical supervision, analysis and synthesis, variation, comparison, absolute and relative values, rows of dynamics, calculation-structural, strategic analysis, graphic, tabular, correlation and regressive analysis, sociological, abstracting, analogy, monographic. Theoretical and practical results: Fundamental principles of the economic theory, system and dialectical approach to economic processes and phenomena studying, scientific developments, legislative and other normative acts of Ukraine as for developing of agriculture and rural areas are the theoretical and methodological basis. The practical significance of obtained results is that their using will facilitate enterprise developing, employment expanding in the village, increasing of peasants’ earnings and social changing of the Ukrainian village. Research novelty: methodological approaches as to formation of productive agricultural program and estimation of agrotourism activity, considering its productive abilities, needs of families and people who have rest have been developed for the first time; system of estimative criteria of suitability and attractiveness of rural areas for agrotourism development is proposed; essence, differences and peculiarities of notions “agrotourism” and “agrotourism farming”, defining certain criteria of their identification, system of indicators of agrotourism development at national and regional levels and for a separate farm, methodological approaches as to formation of prices on agrotourism product, considering its content, importance for customers and concrete situation, basing on the method of multi criteria comparison are specified; question of economic and social importance of agrotourism, viewing from a person, village and society, organization of marketing activity agrotourism farms and system of peculiarities. preconditions and determinant of their functioning have been further developed. The degree of introduction: results of the research have been accepted for introduction by Main Department of agriculture and food of Lviv regional state administration, Department of agriculture and food of Drogobych district state administration of Lviv region, Kolomuya district council of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the Society of supporting of rural green tourism development in Ukraine and are also used in the educational process of Lviv State Agrarian University. Effectiveness: results of the research make it possible to expand employment of rural population, increase their income, improve the use of resources of private peasants farms and extend possibilities for rest lowpaid part of population.
