Martynchyk O. The Economic Efficiency of Cattle Breeding at Agricultural Enterprises of North-and-Western Polissya

The object of research is the process of securing effective cattle breeding at agricultural enterprises of Rivne region. The aim of the research is the development of scientifically sound proposals for enhancing the economic efficiency of cattle breeding production at agricultural enterprises of North-and-Western Polissya. The research methods used: abstract and logical, economic and statistical, monographic, economic and mathematical, balance and that of alternative scenarios. The theoretical and practical results obtained are formulated in the dissertation paper. The research results the conclusions made and recommendations suggested are to be used when substantiating the system of measures aimed at enhancing the economic efficiency of cattle breeding at agricultural enterprises and improving mechanisms of their intraeconomic relations. The results obtained also contribute to the improvement of information-and-advisory support to cattle breeding produce manufacturers. Scientific novelty: it is for the first time: that paper substantiates an organizational-and-economic model of diversified dairy multiservice cooperative and a mechanism of its intraeconomy relations which is adapted to the market economic system. The above ensures, on the one part, the participation of cattle breeding produce manufacturers in its processing and marketing and, on the other side, creates conditions for more effective usage of their own productive-and-resource potential through the diversification of services. Markedly improved were: the conception of ecological-and-economic efficiency and theoretical approach to the determination of the criteria and the system of indicators of ecological and economic efficiency of cattle breeding production. Further development was given to: the proposals for the increase in milk and beef output through the introduction of ecologically-briendly technologies of cattle fattening, to the measures concerning the restructurization of fodder production and enhancement of its efficiency and to therecommendations as to the improvement of the system of information-and-advisory support to cattle breeding produce manufacturers. Introduction: The research results have been accepted for introduction by Rivne region administration, Dubrovytsya and Zarichne district administration as well as in the teaching process at the State Higher Institution “The State Agroecological University”. Efficiency: The research results form the conception of developing cattle breeding enterprises at the regional level. Application sector: Central Boards of Economics and Agroindustrial Development, Boards of Agriculture and Foodstuffs of district administrations, institutions of higher learning and agricultural enterprises.
