Essay

The dissertation contains the results of phase equilibrium study in the system Tl2Se–GeSe2–SnSe2. Corresponding phase diagrams have been lined up. The near optimal technical conditions of single-crystal growth of Tl2Ge(Sn)Se3, Tl4Ge(Sn)Se4 compounds and Tl4GexSn1-xSe4 solid solutions have been elaborated. Their properties have been studied as well. Internal spaces of Tl4GeSe4 compound have been calculated by the powder method. The character of chemical bond has been analyzed in binary and ternary compounds of studied system.
