Byelozyorova O. Discursive Features of the of the Speech Act of Hinting (on the Material of German Language)

The object of the research - is speech acts of hinting in modern German discourse. The purpose of the research is to determine specific character of the SA of hinting by describing its cognitive-semantic and pragma-discoursive features. The methods include the conceptual, context-situational, logical-semantic, discoursive, intentional, conversational analysis. The novelty: for the first time in the research hint and hinting as process and result are distinguished; criterial features of the SA of hinting are determined, means of verbalization of the concept HINT in the German language are specified; the cognitive script of hinting is described; the role of the verbal and non-verbal indicators of hinting are determined in the discoursive realization of the SA of hinting, hint specificity as discoursive tactics is described; illocutionary and strategic potential of the SA of hinting in the German language is specified/ Theoretical value of the research lies in the fact that its results make a contributionto cognitive-communicative paradigm. Practical value is determined by the fact that its results can be used in the lecture courses on stylistic of the German language ("Syntactic stylistic"), discourse theory, speech act theory, rhetoric ("Linguistic influence"), in the research work of students and post-graduates.
