System of health protection financing in Ukraine and process of its reforming. Basing on analysis, comparison, generalization and systematization of experience cumulative in Ukraine and foreign countries of financial health protection establishments provision, to deepen theoretical foundation and to develop practical recommendations concerning mechanism forming of its effective financial provision and effective use in conditions of transformational national financial system. Methods: comparison, system and logically-semantic analysis, economic-mathematical. It was elucidated the questions concerning management of health protection system in Ukraine basing on obligatory state social medical security. It was accented, that the basis of state policy in health protection of Ukraine should be a social policy, which is based on population health risks estimation, that gives a possibility to define directions of state guarantees, analyses existing in world models of medical insurance. It was substantiated thenecessity of introduction in Ukraine of mixed financing system, founded on obligatory state social medical insurance.
