In the dissertation on the base of a complex clinical psychopathological and pathopsychological examination of 166 patients with chronic neurosensory deafness peculiarities of borderline mental disorders formed in these patients were investigated. Ethiological factors, the clinico-psychopathological structure and course of borderline mental disorders in the patients with chronic neurosensory deafness were determined. Diagnostic criteria and principles of therapy of borderline mental disorders in persons with chronic neurosensory deafness were scientifically grounded.
