Begoulev O. Long-term results of treatment of patients with newly detected destructive pulmonary tuberculosis

Object of research - newly detected destructive pulmonary tuberculosis; the purpose - improvement of efficacy of treatment patients with newly detected destructive pulmonary tuberculosis by advancing standard regimen of a chemotherapy on the basis of analyses of long-term results of their treatment; methods - clinical, X-ray, microbiological, biochemical, statistical; the novelty - is established, that patients who were applied with 4 component of standard regimen of chemotherapy were sputum converted in more late terms, than the intensive phase lasts, for 46,3 % of patients due to a high frequency of a primary drug resistance (27 %) and widespread destructive processes. The index of an adhesion of caverns is the relevant data of an estimation of outcomes of treatment of patients with newly detected destructive pulmonary tuberculosis nevertheless of sputum conversion and completion of treatment course. In case of unhealing caverns the relapses of a tuberculosis arise in 5,2 times more often. Theprolongation of course of a chemotherapy above 8 months in such patients decreases the relapses of a tuberculosis in 4 times; the field is medicine
