Koval S. Equity Capital in the System of Bank Financial Reserves

Object -the proprietary capital as a component element of the bank's financial resources in the context of its forming and increase of the capitalization level of Ukraine's banking sector. Aim -is extending of theoretical principles of the bank's proprietary capital and determination of its role in the bank's financial resources, and also complex evaluation of the banks' activity ensuring by means of the personal funds and development of practical recommendations in relation to the increase of the bank's proprietary capital on this basis. Methods - generalization, comparison, grouping, graphic representation of data, economic and mathematical modeling. Results - extending of theoretical bases of the bank's proprietary capital and working out of practical recommendations in relation to the increase of the bank's proprietary capital. Novelty - complex approach to the mechanism essence defining of the bank's proprietary capital forming has been formulated; the model of the bank's propietary capital diagnosticating has been developed, optimum correlation of the propietary capital and bank's obligations has been defined. Implemented into the activity of the public company 'Elektron Bank', closed joint-stock commercial bank 'Lviv', in the educational process. The sphere is a banking system.
