Maksymenko Y. Theoretic and legal bases of informational security of Ukraine provision

The thesis work is devoted to theoretical and legal problems of information security of Ukraine provision as a part of national security. The work defines such concepts as national security, national interests in the informational sphere, security of informational society, discriminates main components of informational security of Ukraine and national interests in the informational sphere on the basis of norms of the Law of Ukraine "The bases of National Security of Ukraine". The thesis of incorrectness of equating informational security with the security of information was proved. The experience of the European Union in the sphere of informational security provision was analyzed on the basis of which the potential threats to informational security of Ukraine, trends and prospects of regulatory and legal control of certain aspects of informational security of Ukraine were defined. For the purpose of further improvement of national legislation and practice of its application the proposals concerning need to embrace the Doctrine of Informational Security of Ukraine, to implement gradual codification of current informational legislation were formulated.
