Buluy O. Economic efficiency of agricultural cooperative activities

Subject of research: the process for providing the economic efficiency of cooperative enterprise economic activity in the agrarian sector. Objective of research: the development of theoretical and methodological concepts and practical recommendations for securing economic efficiency of agricultural production and service cooperative performance. Research technignes: dialectical, abstract and logical, economic and statistical, method of comparison, average and relative magnitudes, correlation and regression analysis, series of dynamics discriminant analysis. Theoretical and practical results: theoretical results are in enriching the science with new theoretical and methodological methods of attack for determinig economic efficiency of agricultural service cooperatives performance under the conditions of market economy. The practical use of the results obtained is determined by the set of elaborated recommendations and suggestions regarding the solution of mutual and specific problem for improving the efficiency of agricultural production and service cooperatives performance on the basic of perfecting the mechanism of realization of the ways for increasing the efficiency of agricultural cooperatives activity. Scientific novelty: it is first suggested to determine the economic efficiency of agricultural service cooperatives performance based on the theory of production potentialities with the use of optimization model which simultaneously take into account the basic factors of production and economic character of the given type of enterprise excluding the direct use of income in calculating the effectiveness measures; the content of terms "cooperation" and "the efficiency of agricultural cooperative activity" has been specified; the suggestions relating to improving the economic efficiency of production cooperatives activity and the optimization of ranges of services of service cooperatives; the substantiations of some peculiarities for securing the economic efficiency of agricultural service cooperatives activity have received further development. Degree of introduction: the results of scientific studies are used by the executive bodies of Zhytomyr oblast in conducting the monitoring of agricultural cooperatives activity, providing the effective performance of agricultural cooperatives of Zhytomyr oblast in the progress of perspective development plans as well as in the educational process of the State Agroecological University of Ukraine, Zhytomyr in teaching special disciplines. Efficiency: the results of scientific studies give the possibility to substantiate the concept of improving the efficiency of agricultural production and the service cooperatives performance on the basis of elaborated mechanism of realization of the ways for increasing the efficiency of their economic management.
