Essay

The dissertation throws light on relations between the Soviet Power and the communist party and the Russian Orthodox Church in Donetsk region. On the basis of sources and available history-graphics forms and methods of the state policy concerning the church, reaction of the church itself to the policy of the state and the party, concerning the church, and also consequences of this policy, are studied in the dissertation. Peculiarities of Russian Orthodox Church in Donetsk region: its structure, directions of its activity, its problems etc. are investigated.
